We’re Georgia and Franzi, the duo behind Margaree Cider.
Our cider dreams began over a decade ago in Margaree. While exploring our new home, we discovered apple trees everywhere; behind old barns, in ditches, and deep in the woods. Producing fruit rich in flavour and complexity.
What started as a small affair, making cider with friends, gradually got bigger, and slightly more sophisticated.
Today, we are dedicated to making authentic natural ciders that tell the story of this place. We are involved in every step of the process. From finding the tree, to picking,pruning, pressing, fermentation, bottling, and bringing our ciders to market.
10 years after making our first cider at a friend’s 100 year old basket press we started Margaree Cider. A labour of love, we are so grateful to all the help we received from family and friends. With picking, pressing or bottling we couldn’t have done it without you!
